Naming Conventions and Cattle Yard Sizes
Our cattle yard names are based on the working capacity - not the holding capacity.
To be consistent in our naming convention we have based our yard sizes on 1.3m2 per 500kg beast weight. To compare different yard systems, the holding capacity can be worked out by dividing the area of the yard by 1.3.

Sheep Yard Plans
M & M Stockyards have broadened their offerings to include sheep yard systems crafted from portable modular components, such as sheep panels, framed gates, and complete modular drafting sections. The advantage of this system is that it does not require permanent installation. Yards can be relocated or adjusted as necessary, and gates and panels can be rearranged. Additionally, the facilities can be conveniently expanded in the future. M & M Stockyards is equipped to design a sheep yard system tailored to meet the needs of every stockman.

Our sheep yard names are based on the working capacity - not the holding capacity. To be consistent in our naming convention we have based our yards sizes on 3 sheep per 1m2. This is only an approximate figure as the number will vary with shorn sheep as opposed to full wool sheep.
